OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
The contest “Top Trip to Riviera Maya” organized by Top Menu starts on December 1, 2018 and ends on January 31, 2019 at 11:59 pm (Eastern Standard Time). All the contest rules and regulations are in effect for the same period.
1. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To enter the contest, any eligible contestants must create one (1) Top Menu Network account above, must fill the requested information and must correctly answer a mathematical question. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person.
2. ELIGIBILITY
This contest is open to legal residents of Canada aged 18 and over. The winner agrees to abide by the policies, regulations and restrictions applicable to this contest. A person for whom this publicity contest is carried on, a Top Menu employee, its representatives, agents and the persons with whom they are domiciled may not enter the contest.
3. PRIZE
A SEVEN (7) DAYS ALL INCLUSIVE TRIP FOR TWO (2) PEOPLE IN RIVIERA MAYA SELECTED BY TOP MENU.
INCLUDES:
The price includes plane tickets and accommodation at the resort selected by Top Menu for two (2) people. The official dates of the trip will be chosen by the winner from the dates pre-selected by Top Menu.
DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Any personal expenses made during the trip, costs related to passports, luggages, vaccination, local departure taxes, transfer between home and the airport, travel insurance, activities, excursions and any other expenses not listed in the previous section (Includes) are not included in the price.
VALUE OF THE PRIZE
The contest organizers declare that the value of the prize depends on the official selected dates. The official dates will be chosen by the winner within the dates pre-selected by Top Menu. The value of the prize is between $2500 and $3000 CAD, including taxes.
4. DRAW, GENERAL CONDITIONS, RESTRICTIONS AND GENERAL
The winner will be randomly selected using a draw from all the entrants who comply with the contest rules. The draw will be held on February 1, 2019 at 4:00pm (Eastern Standard Time) at Top Menu’s head office in Montreal.
Anyone entering the contest more than once (1 entry) will be automatically disqualified. The winner must provide proof of identity, residency, contact details and everything must be identical to the registration. Following the draw, Top Menu will contact the potential winner by phone or email and the winner must be reachable within forty-eight (48) hours of the draw, otherwise all rights to the prize will be revoked. If the winner’s entry does not comply with the contest rules, the potential winner will be disqualified and Top Menu will proceed to another draw, until a winner complying to the rules is selected.
Following the draw, Top Menu will supply the potential prize winner and his guest with a Declaration and Release document. To claim the prize, the potential winner and his guest must both submit the duly completed Declaration and Release document, or else their entry will be disqualified.
Top Menu reserves the right to disqualify any person who has disturbed the conduct of this contest, violated any of the official rules, acted unfairly or disruptively with the intent to undermine the legitimate conduct of the contest. Top Menu also reserves the right to claim from this person any damage and repairs permitted by law. Any Declaration and Release Form submitted by the entrants becomes the sole property of Top Menu and will not be returned. By participating in this contest, each entrant releases and agrees to waive any liability toward the contest organizers against costs, losses or damages of any kind, injuries (due to negligence or any other reason), death, attributable directly or indirectly to the participation in this contest or any activity relating to it. Entrants waive the right to claim any costs incurred in winning the prize. By entering this contest, the winner and his guest agree and grant Top Menu and their representatives the right, but not the obligation, to the use of their names, photographs, images, addresses (city and province) and any statements made by or attributed to such prize winners in any and all media for advertising, commercial and promotional purposes in connection with the contest and other promotions without further compensation, and releases the contest entities from any liability with respect thereto.
Residents of the province of Quebec : Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
5. PRIZE CLAIM
The prize must be accepted and claimed as described in the official rules and can not be substituted, exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash.
